FAQ

We give an example of how this works in Bulgarian:

Choose File>Options>Customize Ribbon

Select the button: Customize …

In the Categories window, select the Home tab and in Commands for EditCopy and EditPaste set the shortcuts (if not already set) respectively to Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.

To make “Typing” work in Bulgarian, it is necessary to set it in Region > Format > Bulgarian from the Control panel.

For the new Control panel (Settings) we have the choice Region & language > Administrative language setting > Change system locate, where we select in Current system locate > Bulgarian. This prevents from possible incorrect language settings.

Before activating the program, check whether the language is the same as the one you want to write in.

After each new loading with a new database (tms file), it is necessary to restart the program (to close and reopen it).

Ctrl key is used once and after typing the ending we press space button.

After using the Help module of “Typing”, the program is disabled and stops monitoring the keyboard buffer. For this reason, after closing the Help module, the program needs to be restarted if we want it to continue running.

Not necessarily, but this feature will speed up the process of counting words and phrases.

You can manually copy the results from the table with the keyboard buttons Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C and then CTRL+V into an Excel table.

After the counting is performed, the Append Date command should be used.

We recommend using a text document of up to 200 pages.

When working with “Reading”, it is necessary to temporarily not use MS Word because “Reading” uses it when processing the text file. This also applies to the “Language Statistics” program.

This is possible through the Uncodify function of the “Reading” program. You need to create your own database (tms file) with words and phrases which you want to find in the text. We have explained how it is done on page 35 of the user manual.

This is possible through the Codify function of the “Reading” program. It is done after you have loaded a database (tms file) with words and phrases and their corresponding abbreviations. Then use the Codify function of the “Reading” program. The abbreviations of words are coloured in green and the abbreviations of phrases are coloured in blue. We have described this function on page 42 of the user manual.
